Silvia Poschich, our controlling lady

Every month we introduce a team member of Tiroler Goldschmied.

Silvia Poschich began her journey in our studio 24 years ago as an apprentice and mastered the challenges with brilliance, successfully passing her master craftsman’s examination. In the years that followed, Silvia embarked on a professional journey that took her through various stations. As a self-employed goldsmith and through her work in other renowned companies, she gained a wealth of experience and expanded her specialist knowledge.

Since this year, Silvia has returned to our studio, where she can now fully live out her passion as a master goldsmith. Her return has given our production process a valuable boost, as Silvia holds an important position: she is our “controlling lady”. Every piece of jewelry and every repair that leaves our workshop is subject to her sharp and critical eye. Only when she gives the green light is it released. Her many years of experience as a goldsmith and her expertise as a customer advisor always stand her in good stead.

In her free time, another facet of Silvia’s personality is revealed: she is a passionate dog owner. Her two faithful companions, Aris and Sole, are her ray of hope and she speaks the language of animals. Her love for her dogs is reflected in her empathetic approach to them and enriches her life in an indescribable way.

What is your trademark?
My trademark is to take on a challenge with joy and knowledge.

What do you particularly enjoy about your job?
The craft, the feeling of having precisely created something beautiful with your hands.

Your favorite piece of jewelry is …
The jewellery from the LA PREZIOSA Tosca collection.

Why?
I particularly like jewelry with Tahitian pearls and rough diamonds.

What is your best or most unusual memory of your work at Tiroler Goldschmied?
The many emotional moments, from the first day in the workshop to the decision to become self-employed and the return to the Tiroler Goldschmied family.

What hobbies do you have?
My biggest hobby and passion are my two dogs, Aris and Sole. I love spending time with them and hiking in the mountains with them.
