Stones collection – jewelry reminiscent of home

”The creek is less splendid if there are no stones that it has to overcome”, says author Theodor Herzl. There is hardly any object that stands the test of time better than stones. The passage of time shapes them – they change and adapt to their natural environment.

Hannes Gamper loves nature. The South Tyrolean enjoys the beauty of his home, the flora and fauna surrounding it and creating life. One of his most beloved power places in the South Tyrol is the Passer River in Merano. Hannes dedicated a whole jewelry line to the uniqueness of the pebbles lining its riverbed.

“Stones are nature’s jewelry!” says Hannes Gamper.

Our LA PREZIOSA Passer Stones collection is a homage to nature and consists of golden pebbles designed according to the genuine Passer River pebbles. Different surfaces and hues of gold underline the individuality of nature and of this collection.

The Passer Stones collection was expanded, when the South Tyrolean family business opened its first German store on Lake Tegernsee. While strolling along the lakeside Hannes Gamper marveled at the pebbles in the crystal clear waters, their shape being so different from the Passer River pebbles.

Like all our collections, we handcraft the LA PREZIOSA line in our in-house atelier in the South Tyrol. All jewelry pieces from our Stones collection are made of 18-carat recycled gold and diamonds.
