LA PREZIOSA Salsa collection – jewelry that makes us dance

This collection is dedicated to the impressive dance movements of the South American salsa – a dance that brings people together and embodies sheer vitality – just like our dancing pearls.
Designer Hannes Gamper, being a trained sculptor himself, loves to be inspired by the arts and by architecture. The SALSA collection is a sculptural staging of pearls whose perfectly round form and luster fascinate Hannes Gamper: “Nothing is more mysterious than the luster of a precious pearl.”
Our SALSA collection combines precious Polynesian and Tahitian pearls with 18-carat gold and diamonds that make these pieces of jewelry dance. The pearls take center stage and are the real stars in this collection. The prong setting allows the pearl to seemingly hover and imitate dance rotations. Movement is what makes these pieces of jewelry excel. Their design is minimalist yet opulent. The rings in particular are reminiscent of beautiful sculptures. Hannes Gamper has won several prestigious international pearl championships – awards that acknowledge his skillful art with this beautiful product by nature.
